About VBIT MUN 1.0

VBIT MUN SOC - VBIT Model United Nations Society associated with Vignana Bharati Institute of Technology, was established on October 3rd, 2019. Our main objective is to empower voices, inculcate accountability and encourage critical thinking through simulated conferences, workshops and seminars conducted on MUN annually or bi-annually.

VBIT MUN is a pragmatic approach to foster young minds, assert their opinions and inculcate responsibility among them. It aims to encourage research, refine the understanding of parliamentary procedures and enhances public speaking, leadership skills, diplomacy, professionalism in negotiation, oral and written presentation of ideas, analytical reasoning and problem solving skills.

Mission

VBIT MUN Society has been established with an aim to encourage youth to develop accountability and incite the thought of ethical capitalism, sustainable development, alongside diplomacy, peace and tolerance in them.

It aspires for the contribution of youth in the decision making process at all levels(local, national, global) of decision making.

Vision

We wish to encourage the youth to discuss and participate in a healthy debate, questioning their ideologies and beliefs whilst also familiarizing them with the importance of diplomatic relationships, etiquette and presiding policies of various countries.

Our mission is to promote ‘learning by doing’. We strive to provide a platform to enhance ethical thought, train and develop an individual to reach their true calibre.
